Hi My name is Ry'an Vaio, I am from the Pueblo of Laguna. I Graduated from Laguna-Acoma High School in 2013 then attended New Mexico Highlands University to Pursue my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Multicultural Education. I worked as an assistant and Teacher at Bright Beginnings Child Development Center for about 7 years. I then transitioned to an Assistant Teacher with the West Las Vegas Head Start for one year then was promoted to a Teacher within the Head Start Program. I encourage my students to learn social skills, early literacy, and early math skills. I enjoy doing fun art activities, taking the students for walks and being outdoors, and interacting with them as well as their families. I am excited to be working with your children and helping them reach their goals.

 


My name is Hilda Ramirez; I am a West Las Vegas High School Graduate. As a child, I attended Head Start. I am a mother of two boys, grandmother of four, and great-grandmother of two. Both my sons attended Head Start, and I was a parent volunteer.

I have worked for West Las Vegas Schools as a Substitute-Teacher, and at NMHU Day Care as a preschool teacher. Currently, I am a teacher at West Las Vegas Early Head Start.

I have my 45-hour certificate, and working on getting my CDA certificate. My goal is to further my education in Early Childhood. What I love about my job is working with children and their families and making a difference in a child’s life.
